How We Got Here
Hello. My name is Louise Turner (Lou)
I started mobile children's parties in 2015 and have worked with nurseries, schools, scout groups and families to allow people to enjoy different methods of creating pottery and painting pre made bisque pieces for fun and relaxation. In 2018 I was able to open a studio and decided to extend the fun to adult learners and hobbyists and local groups who can come into our pottery studio for regular classes, parties, school visits and rainy day fun for children and adults alike. I offer family and group workshops (bookable in advance) and regular weekly classes in order to to inspire and enhance everyone’s creative spark and spirit, and to enjoy a chat and a cuppa or two. A place to come and relax, enjoy a cuppa and some clay fun and therapy or a fun and lively party painting some pottery pieces.
Everyone needs a space to relax, to create, to inspire and to be inspired and to enjoy a chat and a cup of tea with friends!  At Edgmond Pottery, we understand this well. All ages and levels are welcome in this cosy Pottery Studio where people can come and create their pottery or paint a piece for relaxation and fun.  Join a regular class or book a session with friends or family for a relaxing treat.  Please pop in and see what we can offer you or give me a call for a chat.
Classes
Something for Everyone
I run small pottery sessions for adults during the daytime and evenings. We cover various aspects of hand building but we also have a couple of potters wheels for wheel work which can also be booked up for one to one sessions. Please phone for further details and availability.
Current classes Mondays 6.30pm, Tuesdays 10am, Wednesdays 10.00 am, 7.30pm, Thursdays 7.30 pm, Fridays 10.00 am. £20.00 for 2 hour class including all materials and a cuppa or two. Afternoon 2pm and Weekend sessions available to book for private or group sessions £30 for 2 hour session.

You can book a 'Pots and Prosecco' party with friends for a special occasion with prices starting at £30.00 for pottery painting including Prosecco and nibbles, or a two session handbuilding/wheel session from raw materials for £60.00.
I also offer catered Birthday parties where children enjoy creating a painted masterpiece followed by a party tea, weekends and holidays. Bring a birthday cake and I will do the rest. Prices for children's parties start at £20.00 per child.
